Make a Planned Gift
Your planned gift or bequest to Mesa Land Trust is a lasting investment that will help preserve our community’s special places. It will sustain a legacy of conserved land that future generations will thank us for.
One of the simplest ways to leave a legacy gift is though a Beneficiary Form Designation. By designating Mesa Land Trust as a beneficiary on your bank accounts, IRA, pension, life insurance policy, stocks/bonds, or annuity a portion of these assets can be directed to Mesa Land Trust. You can also remember the Land Trust in your will or living trust.
To designate a gift to Mesa Land Trust, have your attorney insert the following in to your will or trust: “I give to Mesa County Land Conservancy dba Mesa Land Trust, Grand Junction, Colorado (insert written amount of gift, percentage of estate or residuary of estate of description of property.”
For more information please contact our Development Director, Mary Hughes.
Kathryn and Ken Stubler were so impressed with the Land Trust’s accomplishments that they named Mesa Land Trust in their will.
“Because the fruits of Mesa Land Trust’s labors are truly tangible and will remain long after we are gone, we believe that a legacy gift to the Land Trust is an investment in the future of Western Colorado that will benefit generations to come.”
